For the past couple of years I have always been wary of my carb intake. If my carb intake is too high, it upsets my stomach and I gain weight with the speed of light. Especially gluten are a killer. So I am more careful with those than I am with anything. But I am a woman and I love my cakes and pies, oh and lets not forget the delicious homemade pizzas I make once in a while.
Last weekend was the ultimate test. I spent the weekend at my BFF’s place and they are very ‘GMT+1 traditional’ food wise. Loads of bread and carbs. Even though I haven’t been as strict with myself the past few months – Blame it on winter-depression and the Holidays – my whole body screamed ‘CARB OVERLOAD’ straight away
It’s a tough way to learn, but it’s good to have things confirmed. No copious amounts of carbs for me Sir. Let’s do this! So it’s back to low-carb for me. Piles of veggies and lean meat… I’ll be bikini proof again sometime next year I think
