Every now and then I get this itch. It calls for immediate satisfaction. It wants me to clean the heart of the house. Reorganise, turn everything inside out and upside down, polish, scrub, you name it.

And I enjoy it! Because the heart of OUR house is The Kitchen – With capitals indeed – as it is the place we spend most of our time. Or at least, a decent chunk. It is where we cook, eat, converse, are crafty and just cherish the little things like a hot latte in the morning.

I LOVE my kitchen and it’s one of the things I don’t mind to clean at all. I love how it’s situated in the middle of our living space, I love how it has a huge worktop to mess up, I love how the colours come together, but mostly I love how it’s almost perfect for us.
